Description
August 24th, The CCOE is hosting a 5K run or walk to honor the memory of long time COLON HIGH SCHOOL Principal and Coach – Mr John Vanwinkle. The First Annual John Vanwinkle Memorial will take place starting 5pm at the COLON HIGH SCHOOL cross country field named after him.
All proceeds will go toward a
scholarship created in JVW’S name.– PARTICIPANTS CAN RUN OR WALK

The Lakeshore Long Run takes place first thing in the morning with 13 miles of challenging and scenic terrain. Finish medals, shirts, post-race nourishment will be provided. Trophies and bragging rights will go to winners.
